Lower Cost Option - Self Assessment
Fire Risk Assessments are a LEGAL REQUIREMENT and can be an expensive method to determine if your premises and staff are safe in the event of a fire.
The information gathered in an AUDIT is very much similar as with a full Fire Risk Assessment (FRA).Ā Ā
In a simple premises, and with the information we gather, we can give you the tools and support, to complete your own FRA, saving you money.
We will of course undertake a full FRA if requested and as we already have the information required, this would be at a significantly lower cost.
The Pre-Fire Safety Audit (Self-Assessment) option is a cost-effective service designed to help responsible persons complete their own fire risk assessment with expert guidance and full support throughout.

What is a Fire Safety Audit?
When a Fire Service Safety Inspector visits, they will carry out a basic evaluation of your premises to identify potential fire hazards, assess the level of risk, and may recommend necessary measures to improve fire safety.Ā Ā
This is known as a Fire Safety AUDIT.
This process only gives a current snapshot of compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it does not replace a Fire Safety Risk Assessment (FRA).Ā
If significant fire safety failings are identified and you do not have a current FRA available, it is most likely that the Fire Inspector will initiate enforcement proceedings against you.
Drummond Fire Risk can carry out a Fire Safety "AUDIT" of your premises which will show you where things are good and where things need attention.
With our support and guidance, and using the information contained within this audit, we are confident that you should be in a position to undertake your own fully compliant Fire Safety Risk Assessment.Ā
